Guilt Trip

Here I am, breezily writing about the expensive real estate being burned to cinders in LA, but today I woke up with the sudden realization (and subsequent pangs of guilt) that I know a bunch of people there and even some in San Diego and that perhaps I should be worrying about them.
I can't promise I will pray for them, like so many of my compatriots, but I certainly hope everybody is well, those I know and those I don't.
